Tom Copeland

Tom Copeland is chief corporate finance officer and head of Monitor Corporate Finance. He has been a consultant to over 200 companies in 34 countries around the world, and is a leading authority on valuation. He is co-author, with J. Fred Weston, of Financial Theory and Corporate Policy and Managerial Finance. With Tim Koller and Jack Murrin, he has co-authored Valuation: Measuring and Managing the Value of Companies.

Copeland received his B.A. in economics from Johns Hopkins University and MBA in finance from the Wharton School, where he graduated second in his class. Copeland's Ph.D. in applied economics was granted by the University of Pennsylvania.

Tom is a former partner in the New York offices of McKinsey & Co.
