Hachette Book Group USA (HBG) is a publishing company owned by Hachette Livre, the largest publishing company in France.

It was formed when Hachette Livre purchased the Time Warner Book Group from Time Warner on March 31, 2006. At the time of the acquisition, Hachette Livre split the Time Warner Book Group into two parts: Hachette Book Group USA to focus on the American market, and Little, Brown Book Group focusing on the United Kingdom.

Under the terms of Hachette Livre's acquisition, HBG is able to use the Warner Books moniker through 2011, although HBG is not itself affiliated with Time Warner. Because of this, HBG announced on March 26, 2007, that Warner Books had been renamed Grand Central Publishing.
