Adrienne spent the first 20 years of her career in a variety of technical and management roles building high-design assurance flight critical, telecommunications, medical devices and IT systems. Since 2007 Adrienne has been using a variety of agility development methodologies to deliver business and technology results starting with RUP, migrating to Scrum, and eventually embracing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®).
During this journey of embracing agility, Adrienne has had a variety of roles focusing on delivery, business and agility coaching, and having the opportunity to build and lead several organisations Agile PMO/ Centres of Excellence. Further, she has had key SAFe® roles including the Release and Solution Train Engineer positions where she has been responsible for launching multiple release trains and multi-site release trains.
As an enterprise agile coach, Adrienne has successfully coached organisations in Aerospace, Telecommunication, Hospitality, Transportation and Insurance/Banking verticals in very successful agile transformations that are still operating today. As a part of Pretty Agile, Adrienne and Em Campbell-Pretty conducted the first SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) class and launched the first Agile Release Train in the Philippines.
Adrienne is an active member of the agile community. She has spoken at international agile conferences and meetups around the world. Through these engagements she is excited to share that while transformations are hard work there is no reason you can’t have fun while participating in them!
She started her career as an Aerospace Engineer buidling embedded flight guidance systems. She has an B.Sc. (Aerospace Engineering) from Ryerson University, Toronto.
