Andrew Pollard is director and senior partner of EMP Intelligence Service and one of the most experienced consultants in competitor intelligence in Europe. His main areas of expertise lie in setting up practical competitor intelligence systems and in integrating competitor intelligence into the strategy of a business.
He has advised many companies in the UK, continental Europe, North America, the Middle East and South Africa. He also has vast experience in designing and running practical successful workshops in competitor intelligence and over 3500 managers have attended his workshops.
He has made presentations at many conferences on competitor intelligence and he has written a number of articles for the world's No 1 journal in competitor intelligence, Competitive Intelligence Review.
In 1987 the Open University in the UK published a pioneering multi-media management course, largely written and researched by Andrew, which included significant material and research on competitive intelligence. A highly successful course, it was taken by about 10 000 students.
