Anette Engström is founder and president of Industrins Internationalserings Center (IIC) AB.
Anette has worked for more than 25 years in international business relations. She has been responsible for training expatriates in one of Sweden's largest international companies. She was the first person in Sweden hired to work with international business contacts. She has 20 years experience as an independent consultant for large companies in Scandinavia and their foreign subsidiaries.
Anette Engström is a dynamic, experienced seminar leader. Her seminars are based on both theory and practical experience. She makes sure that these seminars are based on reality!
She has worked with many different companies following mergers or acquisitions. She analyzes, uses process learning, and facilitates the understanding of cultures for the companies involved in the merger. With input from the management group, she develops a list of key values for future development of the company.
Anette has a firm belief that the positive use of diversity of organizations and of individuals will create a stronger competitive position. Diversity is the future!
In 1989, she founded the Anette Engström Scholarship Foundation for students of international economics to encourage research in this field. She has written many articles about business cultures. Her book, The Swedish Expatriate (Utlandssvensken), was published in 1994. She is a member of the advisory board of Luleå University of Technology.
Anette is a psychologist graduate from the University of Stockholm.
