Donald B. Egolf

Donald was an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Pittsburgh

Donald B. Egolf was interested in human communication, both normal processes and communication pathologies, and in communication technologies.

He taught graduate courses in research methodologies, communication theory, and seminars in computer-mediated communication as well as undergraduate courses in interpersonal, small-group, organizational, and nonverbal communication. Egolf was awarded the Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award in 2002.

Egolf chaired 24 dissertations to completion.

Not only was Egolf a longtime professor at Pitt, but he also received his bachelor's degree, master's degree and Ph.D. at the University.

He sadly pased away in 2013 at the age of 75.
