Eric Greenberg is widely regarded as a pioneer in Internet, Intranet, and security-related technologies. Leading the product management of Netscape's enterprise security and electronic commerce technologies, Mr. Greenberg played a significant role in the successful development and adoption of the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, Java security, secure electronic mail, smartcards, CORBA, and many important Netscape innovations. During his tenure at Sprint International, he deployed one of the worldis largest international Internet backbones, Global SprintLink, and designed private and public networks for companies and governments worldwide. Today, Mr. Greenberg is President of Seine Dynamics, a strategic consulting firm specializing in network and application design and analysis. He holds a master's degree from Cornell University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, both in electrical engineering.
