Gerrit Broekstra

Gerrit Broekstra, Professor of Organization Behavior and Systems Sciences at Nyenrode University, Netherlands.

Dr Broekstra has an MSc in Physics from Delft University of Technology and earned his PhD in Physics, at Eindhoven University of Technology, all in The Netherlands.

Dr. Broekstra has extensive experience in the academic world. He is a respected professor in organizational systems and behavior sciences and during his career has focused on themes such as intelligent organizations and organizational renewal. He has also initiated or spearheaded various educational programs and has held positions as interim dean at the Rotterdam School of Management, Director of the Rabo Executive MBA and executive dean of the Nyenrode Executive Management Development Center.

Guest speaker and Chairman at numerous congresses both domestic and abroad, Dr. Broekstra has over a 100 publications in international journals and conference proceedings and serves on the editorial boards of various international journals. He is initiator of a range of consultancy and 'action research projects' for multi-nationals such as Mercedes-Benz, Cosun, Arcadis and the Rabobank Group and has a substantial record in designing and facilitating Strategic Search Conferences for both business and government.
