Herbert Schildt

Herbert Schildt is the leading authority on C and C++ and is an expert Windows programmer. He has written numerous books on C,C++, and Windows, including the best-selling C++ from the Ground Up, C: The Complete Reference, C++: The Complete Reference, and Schildt's Windows 95 Programming in C and C++. He is the president of Universal Computing Laboratories, Inc., and holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
