Michael Beitler

Michael Beitler (born 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an author, business professor, and Republican candidate for North Carolina Secretary of State in the 2012 election. He is married to Danielle, and has three children. He received his B.Sc. in Finance/Economics from the University of Central Florida in 1976, his M.A. in Psychology from Norwich University in 1994 and his Ph.D. in Leadership Development from the The Union Institute in 1997. Dr. Beitler is a former business professor at the Bryan School of Business at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, business consultant in Organizational Change and Learning, host of the "Free Markets" radio show, author of three books, and a former Chief Financial Officer.

Beitler, who ran in 2010 as a Libertarian for U.S. Senate, has rejoined the Republican Party.
