Michael Blaha received his doctoral degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and is an alumnus of the GE R&D Center in Schenectady, New York. For the past nine years Dr. Blaha has been an independent consultant and trainer in the areas of modeling, database design, and reverse engineering. He has authored five U.S. patents, three books, and many papers. He has presented seminars rang-ing from one hour to two weeks in North America, Europe, and Asia. Dr. Blaha is an editor for IEEE Computer in the areas of software and databases.
