Michael K. Evans

Dr. Evans has more than 30 years of forecasting experience and is a renowned econometrician. In 1999, he received the Annual Blue Chip Economic Forecasting Award for the most accurate macroeconomic forecasts of the previous four years.

As the founder and president of Chase Econometrics, he built the notable Chase Econometric Forecasting Model. His experience includes constructing an econometric model of the gaming industry and an econometric model to predict consumer bankruptcies, and modeling tax revenues at the federal, state, and local levels. He has published extensively and has presented testimony before federal, state, and local bodies.

One of the nation's foremost econometricians, Dr. Evans is editor of The Evans Report, a weekly newsletter on economic trends. He is frequently quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and other national publications, and appears regularly on major network news programs and the Business Radio Network.

Dr. Evans previously taught at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Brown University.
