Beginning in Fall 1998, Dr. Sisodia joined Bentley College as one of the first of three teacher-scholars named to the post. These tenured appointments in one of the college's traditional business or business-related programs — Accountancy, Business Communication, Computer Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Law, Management, Marketing, Mathematical Sciences or Taxation — will foster the innovative integration of IT in teaching and research involving fellow faculty and students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Sisodia joins Bentley College from George Mason University, where he served as associate professor of marketing and director of executive programs at the School of Management. His teaching, curriculum development and scholarly activities focus on digital commerce; technology management; technology as a change agent; the telecommunications and information industries; services; marketing productivity; and the impact of information technology on marketing strategy. His work has been featured in professional journals such as the Harvard Business Review and national media including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post and American Public Radio's Marketplace. He recently co-hosted a monthly talk show on business and management issues broadcast on National Public Radio.
Dr. Sisodia received a bachelor of engineering degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India, a master of management studies from the Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in India, and both an MPhil and a PhD in marketing and business policy from Columbia University.
