Robert M. Grant was born in Bristol, England, and studied at the London School of Economics.
With a world reputation in the field of strategy, Professor Grant has extensive consulting and academic experience in his portfolio. On the consultancy side, projects have been undertaken for clients as varied as ENI, Amoco Corporation,Federal Industries Ltd, National Economic Development Office, Northern Telecom, DTI, American Express, the OECD, the Consumers' Association and the Monopolies and Mergers Commission. In academic life, he has held posts at Cal Poly, the University of British Columbia, and London Business School and has been visiting Professor at INSEAD and UCLA. For the last five years, he has been a Professor at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
