Rosemary Stewart, Honorary Fellow of Oxford University, was Templeton College's first Fellow in Organisational Behaviour. She joined the Oxford Centre for Management Studies (as it then was) in 1966, after having studied economics and social philosophy at the London School of Economics and at the University of British Columbia, and working for the Acton Society Trust, and stayed at Oxford until her retirement in 1992. She received a honorary DPhil from Uppsala University in recognition of her work in the field of health care management.

Nearly a decade later, she remains a familiar face around the College, still involved with academic life.
