Russell C. Pavlicek, Linux Evangelist for Compaq's Professional Services organization, is a 20-year computer industry veteran.
He is a regular speaker at various Linux and Open Source conferences, has written several articles on Linux, and is often quoted in articles dealing with the subject of Open Source. Labelled an Open Source "advocacy guru" by IBM, Russell enjoys both writing code and educating people about the importance of Open Source solutions.
