Shirley Harrison

Shirley Harrison has wide professional experience in marketing and public relations, as an in-house director of communications, independent consultant and trainer. She divides her time between lecturing at Leeds Metropolitan University, consulting, researching and writing. She has a special interest in crisis public relations and is the author of Disasters and the Media: Managing Crisis Communications (1999). She is a member of The Institute of Public Relations.
