Steve Spicklemire holds a PhD. in Physics from California Institute of Technology.
He teaches physics, astronomy, and Internet programming at the University of Indianapolis, where he teaches Physics, Astronomy, and Internet Programming, where he uses Zope in both education and research. In the college classroom, he often uses simulation to investigate physical systems that would either be too expensive, too impractical, or simply too dangerous to study experimentally.
Steve Spicklemire has been designing and building software and hardware systems for more then 20 years. He earned a Ph.D. in Physics from California Institute of Technology. His doctoral work at Caltech involved software control over ion beams, lasers, and data collection instruments. Since that time, he has been teaching and actively consulting with various clients.
His work includes The Radio Astronomy Project at the University of Indianapolis, which utilizes a Zope-based program to collect data from software and hardware for the five meter Radio Telescope.
