For over 27 years, Tari Schreider has consulted with Fortune 1000, 500 and 100 companies as well as public administration organizations to train information technology professionals to prepare for and recover from catastrophic situations. Schreider is the Director of Extreme Logic's newly formed Security Solutions Practice and is responsible for developing security strategies and implementing security solutions designed for the Microsoft platform.
He founded Contingency Planning Research and created one of the world's most comprehensive databases of disaster case files. As a result, he was asked to be part of a team which created a report to Congress on threats to the Information Super Highway. Later, he advised the Pentagon on risks associated with the Year 2000 changeover.
Tari is the author of the Encyclopedia of Disaster Recovery, Security & Risk Management as well as Contingency Planning Strategies/90. He has been featured as a subject matter expert and guest on ABC, CBS and NBC News, CNN, NPR, Good Morning America!, Nightline, and Wall Street Journal TV.
