Tim Ferriss

Tim Ferriss is an American investor, author, podcaster, and entrepreneur, best known as an angel investor who has helped set up many popular start-ups. Born and raised in New York City, he completed his early education at the St. Paul's School, Concord, New Hampshire. He later attended Princeton University, eventually graduating with an AB degree in East Asian studies. While in school, he visited Japan. He claims it was a formative experience of his life. He later worked in the sales department of a data company. While working there, he started his own business, a nutritional supplement company called 'BrainQUICKEN.' He later sold his business for a great profit. In 2007, he released the book titled The 4-Hour Workweek, which became a massive success and was featured on The New York Times Best Seller list for many years.

Eventually, as he amassed a fortune, he began funding several start-ups and projects. Some of the projects that he has invested in are 'Evernote,' 'TaskRabbit,' and 'Reputation.com.' In addition, he has started a podcast of his own. He took a break from investing in 2015 and then moved from Silicon Valley in 2017.
