Timothy Clark is a former Research Fellow in International Management in the School of Management, at the Open University. Now he is a Reader in Management in the Management Centre, King's College, University of London. He has conducted research into different aspects of management consultancy work for the past ten years. The main focus of his current research is on the nature of speaker-audience interaction in live presentations by management gurus and an examination of the nature and effectiveness of corporate theatre. He is the author of numerous articles and the book Managing Consultants. He has been Associate Editor of Human Relations, and is Assistant Editor of Journal of Management Studies and convenor of an international bi-ennial conference on management consultancy.
