Dr. Davidow has been a high-tech industry executive and venture investor for twenty years. Before joining Mohr, Davidow Ventures, he held a number of management positions at Intel Corporation, including Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Vice President of the Microcomputer Division and Vice President of the Microcomputer Systems Division. Dr. Davidow holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University (1961), and a BA summa cum laude from Dartmouth College (1957). He is the author of Marketing High Technology (1986), Total Customer Service (1989), and The Virtual Corporation (1992). In addition, he is a columnist for Forbes ASAP.
Dr. Davidow is Chairman of the Board of Rambus Corporation and Vantive Corporation and serves on the Board of Directors of several start-up companies. Dr. Davidow is also a member of the California Institute of Technology Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Board of Advisors to The Community Foundation Silicon Valley and the Stanford University Institute for Economic Policy Research.
