Prior to founding eSpoc in 1999, Yuval was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where he managed the support of all distributed technology, perfected his systems management methodology, and built quality control systems for Lehman's index and portfolio management products. Yuval's Ph.D. dissertation in Systems Science from Washington University in St. Louis specialized in rapid solutions of highly complex problems, which later found applications in US Air Force, Rockwell International, and Bell Laboratories.
His inventions at Bell Laboratories were awarded multiple patents in the US, Europe, and the Far East, while his book, Mission Critical Systems Management, was published by Prentice Hall in 1997.
