Xenophobia — an irrational fear of foreigners, probably justified, always understandable.
Xenophobe's
'The spirit of tolerance does constant battle with the ghost of Calvin for control of the Dutch psyche. Few Dutch people go to the church any more, but they don't need to. Inside every Hollander's head is a little pulpit containing a preacher with a vermanende vinger, a wagging finger.'

Forewarned is forearmed.
After having visited the Netherlands a number of times and conducted numerous meetings there, I can't say that this book gives me any insight into the Dutch psyche whatsoever.
Lots of generic views, that may be startling to a Brit (of whom the author is one), but nothinh revealing.
Skip it, it's not worth the money.
