Known as the "Marketing Marshall", Elizabeth works with business experts, authors and entrepreneurs to help them attract clients, spread their message and sell their books. As an author and speaker, Elizabeth has first-hand experience and expertise at finding the fastest, easiest and most effective ways to sell books, attract clients and create a following.
Elizabeth is the co-author of The Contrarian Effect: Why It Pays (Big) to Take the Typical Sales Advice and Do the Opposite (2008), a book she wrote with Michael Port, bestselling author of Book Yourself Solid and Beyond Booked Solid. Since 2006, Elizabeth has served as Director of Sales for Michael Port Companies and has co-led teleseminars, coaching programs and workshops with Michael.
In 2007, she founded AuthorTeleseminars.com, the place where the best and brightest business authors come to spread their message and sell their books. Through Author Teleseminars, she has launched virtual book tours for clients such as Seth Godin, Michael Port and Howard Behar (former Starbucks President) and hosted business experts, such as Keith Ferrazzi, Tim Ferriss, David Allen and Tim Sanders.
Before launching her coaching and consulting practice, Elizabeth had a successful career in sales and recruiting. While working for the nationally recognized Merritt, Hawkins and Associates, she won the award for Research Recruiter of the Month multiple times.
Elizabeth holds an undergrad degree in music from Baylor University, a master’s degree from Yale University. She received coach training from Coach University. When she’s not working with clients, she enjoys practicing yoga, watching NBA games and hanging out with Barkley, her Australian Shepherd.
