Dr. Jay Liebowitz is a Knowledge Management Officer at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He previously was the Robert W. Deutsch Distinguished Professor of Information Systems at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC). Prior to UMBC, Dr. Liebowitz was Professor of Management Science at George Washington University and the Chair in Artificial Intelligence at the US Army War College. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Expert Systems With Applications, published by Elsevier. He has served as the IEEE-USA Executive Fellow at the Federal Communications Commission, and was selected as the Computer Educator of the Year by the International Association for Computer Information Systems. He has published 28 books and over 220 papers dealing with intelligent systems, knowledge management, and information systems technology/management.
