Robert L. Lorber

Robert L. Lorber is president of The Lorber Kamai Consulting Group, an organization that has implemented productivity systems for small, medium and Fortune 500 companies on four continents. Lorber is an internationally recognized expert on performance management, productivity, teamwork and the relationship between organizational structure and culture. He has a Ph.D. in organizational psychology and has authored numerous articles and books, including Putting the One-Minute Manager to Work and One Page Management. This spring, Lorber will have a new book published titled More Meaningful Days with co-authors Lynne Desmond Cage and Patricia Shafer. He teaches as a visiting faculty member at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.

Lorber became interested in creating a balance between work and family in 1988. He had a thriving management consulting business with 45 consultants that traveled around the world. He and his wife had lived in fast-paced Orange County for 14 years and were starting a family. It was at that point he realized that he needed to find a balance between his work and his family life to make each day more meaningful.
