Stefan Zehle is currently employed by Coleago Consulting and is an expert in telecoms strategy, including marketing strategy and forecasting as well as business planning and modelling. He held Director positions in a GSM operating company dealing with Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Inter-carrier Relations and Regulatory Affairs. Stefan developed business modelling and market forecasting tools such as mobile operator business planning models. He is the co-author of the Economist’s Guide to Business Planning.
The scope of Stefan’s work encompasses mobile and fixed telecoms services and telecoms and IT products. He has carried out and managed consulting projects in developed and emerging markets worldwide. Stefan has written for clients complete strategic plans and business plans and dealt with all aspects of marketing planning including product and service design and pricing. He has lead cellular and broadband licence applications, conducted market research, business planning and forecasting projects in Europe in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, the UK; in the Americas in Argentina, Brazil, El Salvador, Mexico, Venezuela; in Asia in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan; in the Middle East in Kuwait; in Africa in Sudan, Algeria, Madagascar, Egypt and South Africa.

Stefan is a contributor to telecoms magazines and is a speaker at telecoms conferences in London, Berlin, Vienna, San Francisco and Guadalajara on subjects including Eastern European telecoms market development, mobile market forecasting, market forecasting techniques, GPRS and 3G data tariffing, and calling party pays tariffing, fixed mobile convergence, demand for 3G services, etc.
Born in Berlin, 1959. Master of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction, University of Westminster. Higher National Certificate in Business Studies with distinction, City of London Polytechnic. Undergraduate studies in French at Kings College, University of London, and Sorbonne, University of Paris. Schooling in Berlin and Munich. Stefan is fluent German, French and English having studied and worked in all three countries.
